Riesling

The 2018 vintage was arguably one of the best in years. With no extreme weather events, no disease pressure and consistently fine conditions throughout, it was a vintage most winemakers would love to ‘dial up’ every year! This Riesling is harvested at night from our preferred Block 6 at Langton and so only has to travel a few metres to the crushing deck. The fruit arrived at the winery at less than 12 C; only the free run juice was used and it was fermented at 12 - 15 C, ensuring all the inherent delicacy in this variety was retained.
