About Us
“It seems a day doesn’t pass without a new winery appearing on the landscape. Far too frequently they disappoint, but that is a story best left for another time. Occasionally you stumble across a new player that brightens even the most sombre of moods. West Cape Howe from the Great Southern region of Western Australia is one such producer.
If you are looking for wines that are honest yet interesting, this range is worth exploring.”

History
The first recorded exploration of the south coast of Western Australia was in 1627 by early Dutch seafarers aboard the gallant ship Gulden Zeepaard (Golden Seahorse). Their ‘fluyt’ class vessel passed this way by chance, and as their charts were traced with such accuracy, they are thought to have sailed within sight of the coastline, almost certainly discovering the southern most tip of Western Australia, West Cape Howe.
