2018 'Two Peeps' Sauvignon Blanc Semillon |
 | Vintage Description: | The SBS is affectionately named ‘Two Peeps’ after Two People’s Bay, a terrific coastal site east os Albany WA, which produces fruit with intense fresh and zesty flavours. This wine was partially barrel fermented to produce a textural and more complex wine. It is crisp and dry with great palete length; to be enjoyed with many foods. |
| Fruit Source: | Albany, WA. |
| Fruit Maturity: | Fruit was picked at 12 - 13º Be |
| Blend: | Sauv Blanc 65% / Semiilon 35% |
| Colour: | Very bright and clear with the lightest (slightest) hint of straw. |
| Aroma: | Very attractive, aromatic nose, with distinctive cut capsicum characters along with delicate citrus and floral notes & complexed by some slightly spicy, lemon grass aromas. |
| Palate: | This wine has delicious fruit flavours with a surprisingly full palate for a young wine; the older oak used for fermentation and maturation has contributed to this fullness of flavour without making the wine oaky to taste. Our ‘Two Peeps’ is a well flavoured, crisp dry wine that has a beautiful softness on the mid palate with a gentle acidity on the finish. |
| Cellar Potential: | Enjoy now or cellar carefully for up to three years. |
