2019 Sauvignon Blanc |
 | Vintage Description: | This is in our portfolio of ‘Regional Range’ wines; wines that are from specific sub-regions of the Great Southern. All this Sauvignon Blanc is from our Langton vineyard in Mt Barker. |
| Winemaking Information: | We have several blocks from which to choose the best parcels and, with the winery on-site, the fruit gets processed immediately, thus ensuring no loss of quality. Harvesting in the cool overnight temperatures also avoids the risk of oxidation or any loss of fruit flavour. |
| Fruit Source: | Mount Barker |
| Colour: | Very bright and clear with the tiniest hint of pale straw. |
| Aroma: | Beautifully aromatic, with the typically pungent, grassy and herbaceous aromas that Sauvignon Blanc is renowned for, as well as some light, fresh tropical fruit characters and attractive floral notes. |
| Palate: | Super delicious on the palate with those zesty and delicious tropical fruit flavours. There’s a good balance between these subtle, guava fruit flavours from the slightly riper picked grapes and the fresh, zingy acidity from the Sauvignon Blanc from our cooler sites. It’s a wine with good palate weight and a lovely, mouth filling, fresh acidity giving good length of flavour. |
| Cellar Potential: | Excellent drinking now and over the next 12+ months. |
